If you have been following the
call to action posts lately, then you know this is the week to get your service projects wrapped up and delivered. I would love to hear your stories. Email your stories and/or links about your service project to me at
service @ zackarias [dot] com and I will compile them into one blog post to share with everyone else.
I know some have already shared your stories or links in the comments of other blog entries. Can you send them again to the email address above so I can sort them out quickly? Thank you!!!If you've been sittin'... Don't beat yourself up. You have 365 days a year to serve. Maybe tomorrow is your day.
Cheers,
Zack
Zack,
Sounds great, will be sending you an email shortly with the status of my project!

Just sent you mine.
Cheers.
I have a meeting set with the local charity today. They were thrilled at the opportunity. So am I.
I might be a little late, but the kids that are helped won’t know that.
I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner—oh, yes I can.
Thank you for the push.
I needed it. At least as much as the people I get to help.
Mines on the way!
mine’s setup and on the way – portrait session with a needy family should be this Sunday or next – like Matt S I might be a little late but it will be worth it!
Well I went and got myself married last week so my project didn’t happen. I did however do a free baby shoot, and get the ball rolling for December’s Help Portrait and schedule a meeting about it for Sunday with some other interested people to work out the details.
Hi Zack,
Thank you so much for the inspiration and for sharing your thoughts.
I have joined Help-Portrait although I live in UAE. For now I am on my own but I will start by heading to my church community here and I hope I can achieve something.
Cheers!

How’s Derrick!!!
This is how I spent last Christmas day. It was my wife’s idea, we provided a family portrait to hundreds of people and Old Chicago’s fed everyone who came. I also covered the event for the charities involved and gave them copies of the photos. One still has them on their homepage. The pictures aren’t too inspiring, but the people were.

last week i have fashion portrait project to test me new camera (2 weeks 5DmkII).
yesterday i helped my fraternity brother shot a photos of his pre-wedding portrait.
tomorrow i have ‘DIY softbox from umbrella’ project.
i will send my story to your email after i translate some blog in my website from Thai to English language.
I have my first of two shoots with the children’s dental clinic tomorrow! It will be in house shots of the office, and the kids interacting with the staff and dental team. The second will be a building shoot of a new facility that they are opening up in an area that really needs it. I’m nervous, have butterflies, but I can’t wait to see what I can come up with tomorrow!
Zack,
E-mail on the way. I sincerely hope the above is not the sum total of projects completed after all the hype, but I guess it’s better than nothing at all?
Jeff
Project sent, deep breath!
I hope there were more people involved in this than the 13 replies indicates.
I had two responses to my blog post this week asking for nominations. Initially, I was just going to pick one person, but I liked both of their stories for completely different reasons and I’m giving them both a full session and our basic package (a $200 value each). I’m going to eat the cost of the prints because I just feel so great doing this. It’s an awesome feeling. Thank you Zack! I told them that I would keep the fact that their session was free private so I can’t share unfortunately but I’m so glad I’m doing this and sticking with it.
