car_reflection.jpg I have had an amazing time out here with the Boulder OneLight!  Big thanks to Stacy Z and her awesome husband, Brad, for bringing me out to the Rockies for a great workshop.   I'm exhausted and I have to be up early to catch my bird back to Atlanta.  More later.     Man Zack…I’m starting to see the difference between a pro and an amateur photographer….I would of thought that it all depended on the amount of money you had to spend on equipment.

    By following this blog and your adventures I’m starting to see the “LIGHT” …it seems like it all has to do with desire….well a burning desire…. I mean you have so many projects that you work on constantly….aside from raising your two boys.

    This is the light… You get back proportionately what you put in.

    Gorgeous shot. Would you mind saying a bit about the setup for this?

    I would’ve expected that the shutter speed on this would’ve been too fast to give you decent ambient lighting from the moon, but I’m obviously wrong here.

    I really like how you got the correct exposure to reflect off the car window and balance the flash with all of it. Did you meter to get it right? Thanks for posting.

    @Erik – I typically do not meter anything. I’ll shoot a frame or two to dial in my flash exposure and then adjust my shutter for ambient. I usually get to my exposure in 2 or 3 frames.
